I’m currently working with the Montclair History Center and local Italian American community members to transfer digitized materials from the Montclair State University Italians of Montclair Photographic and Oral History Project to an accessible digital public-facing platform.

Along with an interdisciplinary group of faculty, undergraduate, and graduate students and staff from across campus offices, I am working on a campus audit to understand the state of (in)accessibility on Rutgers-Newark’s campus and build community among disabled students.

With collaborators across academic departments, I am helping research how eugenic injustices continue to inform political and civic participation of disabled people of color and the role higher education can play in repairing these inequities of representation and participation.
